Just over four years ago, our church embarked on a journey to reach the students of the river valley that required a step of faith.  Not only did it require faith in action and planning, but faith that God would provide financially in the future.  In October of 2005, First Baptist Lavaca opened the doors to it's own dedicated, state of the art student facility.  After initially raising one third of the total cost of the project, our church then took a step of faith by borrowing an additional $1.5 million dollars to complete construction.

Today, we are grateful, honored, and excited to announce First Baptist Lavaca is now officially debt free!  In just over four years, your faithful and sacrificial giving has allowed us to retire the note on our student center.  We want thank you, church family, for your investments made into the lives of so many students across the river valley.  Your giving will impact teenagers for generations to come.

Thank you First Baptist Lavaca for making yesterday's "Finish the Race" Harvest Day Offering a HUGE success!  It was another monumental day in the history of this church!  Thank you for your tremendous support and generosity.

Let's finish the race starting November 22!Church family, we're not far from our annual Harvest Day Offering!  We are getting closer to the finish line as we continue to retire the debt on the h2o student center.  Continue to pray and seek the Lord on how much you and your family can go above and beyond the tithe to support this monumental goal in the life of our church.  The finish line is approaching, let's "Finish the Race" starting November 22!

Our goal of $100,000 will not only be put toward debt retirement, but will also go to help support our church's missional focus.  It's going to be a great day, and every little bit helps!  Help us continue to bless the students of the river valley and minister to others as we chase after the calling of "The Radiant Church!"
