The Hand of God

On Thursday Terry Hurt and I traveled to St. Louis MO to see Benny Rambo and his family. We were able to witness a miracle as Benny spoke with us only hours after having received a new heart in a successful heart transplant surgery. Amazing indeed. One of the medical personnel at the hospital said it was the luck of the draw to which Benny's mom, Joan Rambo, said no it was the hand of God! I love that response. I have attached some pictures of our visit to the hospital.

God really blessed our day yesterday here at FBL. The deacon ordination service was really special and I congratulate the new deacons as they join us in ministry.

God has given us a great start to the New YeDSC02568.JPGar. I appreciate all your prayers for our church and our family. Both Bryant and Leighton got the part of Aladdin in their school rendition of the popular movie. We are very proud of them!

She hit the nail on the head by saying that God's hand is on Benny. Thanks the Lord for His healing power.

Sunday night was awesome. I believe a great day for our church. Congratulations to those who were ordained.

Couldn't be more proud of the boys. They will be great.
