I feel so very blessed to have gone to Nepal and minister in that country with Brother Finny Matthews.  We have Finny coming to FBC Lavaca on July 12 and I cannot wait for our people to hear this man of God preach the Word.  We made it back safely on Saturday, February 21.  Listen to this-- we traveled almost 2 days to make it home!  I am still jet lagged but that is okay; it is but a small price to pay to help fulfill the Great Commission. 

God blessed us with a great day on Sunday.  One man prayed to receive Christ and I baptized him Sunday night. He told me that for the last 3 weeks God had been after him and on Sunday morning he repented of his sins and God saved him!  God continues to bless us here at FBCL and I am so grateful.  Bro Tony preached a strong message Sunday night from 2 Corinthians 4:7, "But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us."  The only thing that is truly good in us is Jesus.
