Flame Out

5th and 6th grade guys and girls.  You did a great job last Wed. night.  We picked up over 50 bags of leaves, pine needles, acorns, and sticks from 2 yards belonging to some senior adults.  They received a blessing from our work and we received a blessing by being a blessing to them.  That's what being a Christ follower is about.  Living not to bless us and just be hearers of the Word only, but to bless others and be "DOers!"  Great Job.

Flame Out

Live WIre is rockin'.  We've just completed our first four weeks with a study of Noah on obedience.  It's pretty neat that Noah was just an ordinary guy who was obedient.  His obedience in his everyday life and then to God's specific call to build the ark is what allowed him to save the world.  I'm glad to know that God uses ordinary.

There are a lot of ordinary things that ordinary people can do to be a blessing to others.  This Wed. night will be our first night of "Flame Out" for our Live Wire students.  We'll be going to the homes of several senior adults and picking up limbs, leaves, needles, and cones from thier yards and hauling them off.  We have a list of folks going but if you know of someone who could use some help please let me know.

Parents.  Times will be like normal.  We'll leave at 6:05 and be back at 7:20.  If you'd like to help give me a call or email.  Thanks
