Graduation from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary

Finally! After four years of intense study at SWBTS, Chris and I graduated. I received my master's degree in Christian education with an emphasis in Childhood education and women's ministry. Chris received his bacholor's degree in theology and an advanced diploma in theology. We are so thankful to God for his provision, protection, and patience! We want to thank our parents for all of their support (and for writing out that tuition check ! :0) Thank you, chuch family for all of the encouragement and support we have been given. I don't think you will ever truly know how much of a blessing you were. There are many families who have supported us financially as well, and only God can reward you justly for the gifts you have given to us. I've included some pictures from the big day. The bottom one is of Chris and I with three of our professors: Dr. Craig Mitchell, prof of Christian ethics, Dr. Kevin Kennedy, prof of Systematic theology, and Dr. John Mark Yeats, prof of Church history.
Please continue to pray for Chris as he will be continuing his master's work online and also driving down on Mondays starting in August. (He has Greek and Hebrew left, so it's gonna be fun!) Thank you all again. You have given a new meaning to the words "church family." The Greek word for fellowship is koinoina--it denotes more of a bonding together as a family, and that is what you, FBC Lavaca, have meant to us. God Bless! "Now unto Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly abouve all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory...!" Eph,. 3:20-21
