About the First Lavaca Preschool Ministry
To glorify God in every aspect of His preschool ministry.
To provide a safe, loving, memorable church experience for preschoolers and their families.
To equip teachers to effectively communicate biblical principles to preschoolers using methods and concepts appropriate for their particular developmental stage. This is done to lay a fertile foundation for their acceptance of Jesus as their Savior when they are old enough to understand.
To come alongside parents and encourage them to actively participate in the discipling of their own children. This will be done by providing materials and functions for parents and preschoolers to interact and grow together.
To reach out to unchurched young families with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Preschoolers cannot drive, therefore, preschool ministry must minister to the parents as well as to their children.
