Dental Hygiene

emilyterry.JPGI went to get my teeth cleaned this week...twice.  Emily cleaned them for me.  She is in the Dental Hygiene program at the University of Arkansas Ft. Smith.  She has a quota of patients she has to see during the semester.  Part of her grade depends on it.  She has spent a lot of time contatcing people to be a patient for her clinic.  When she has a cancelation she calls in the backups.  I was her backup as she had a cancelation.  I was very impressed with her performance and the facility.

One of the other students shot this pic for us as she finished up the appointment.  Doesn't she look all professional and everything!

She will still be lining up patients.  If you have not had consistent cleanings, give her a call.  She can get you hooked up.  You will get professional dental care and she will fulfill class requirements.  It is a win win.  If you have any questions about it, give her a call and she can explain all the details.

Well, she sure knew her stuff about good dental hygiene when she did our preschool presentation! Professional AND knowledgeable... I'd trust her with my teeth any day!

Go Emily! One more year of DH studies. Terry you and Mrs. Deb have raised some champions for Christ in Josh, Emily, and Katie. My family and I love your family and glad to partner with you in ministry.

I am sure that you are glad to see some little rewards for all that you are also giving toward Emily's program. It seems that every time I mention some small ache, Jordan tells me that she could X-ray that for me. I tell her that I know where the problem is located, if she can't tell me what the problem is, then the picture is no help. Jordan will walk in graduation on May 10, even though she will not finish until the end of July. Then she will begin the next phase in August. I am just so happy that our girls are so excited about their future careers. Taylor seems to have forgotten about that marriage proposal a few years ago. Since Emily is only one year away from finishing and he is only in the fourth grade, I am really liking that idea. By the time he has graduated, she might be ready for the move to Texas so that he can begin his career as a Texas Ranger and preacher (he is not remembering that either). I love your children and their parents too. I am so thankful to have fun memories like these.

It is hard to believe our girls are old enough to be months away from their careers! We are excited for Jordan and glad she is doing well and about to finish her program. We love you guys too and are grateful for the years of building memories!
